 STORIES

To whom it concerns,

I Shane James am writing on behalf of Noah's Ark, homeless shelter in Wapato Wa.

I believe the homeless shelter has merit, and benefits a lot of homeless people.

I was recently homeless. I'm greatful for Noah's Ark homeless shelter. I'm thankful for Robecka Morrow, she is a very kind and caring person helpfull in every way possible.

I'm recently a recovering alcoholic. I have stayed at the homeless shelter on and off for 18 months. I went to treatment from Noah's Ark doors to James Oldhams treatment center from Jan 11, 2010 through February 8, 2010. till this day I've been sober an clean.

Noah's Ark homeless shelter has merit to those who are homeless... Yakama Nation, Wapato, Yakima, Toppenish, Granger have had problems with homeless people. I've heard stories of Noah's Ark homeless shelter will be closed down, I truely hope that won't happen. I'm living today because I had somewhere who cares enough to help someone like me and a whole lot of others.

I'm no longer homeless, I still go back there today and look back on the life I was living. Being homeless and living on the streets begging for change. I've got my pride, integrity and self- respect back.

Noah's Ark homeless shelter has saved my life and is helping a whole lot of those who have no where else to go. I truely hope whom ever reads this letter has a heart an can give those people who live their lives there a pass through these an extension for the shelter helps.

Sincerely, Shane James     God Bless

To whom it may concern,

Noah's Ark Homeless Shelter, a local mission here in Wapato, Washington has been in exsistance for several years founded by one of our former members to aid, feed and house many homeless people in our community. We wholeheartedly support them in their efforts to accomodate those in need of shelter.

It has come to our attention that they are in need of financial help in making  roof repairs, and have asked our aid in helping with this. However, our own congrgation has deminished in size and our cash flow is thus limited to maintaining our own facilities at this time. We have asked for our congregation to give a speacial offering for them, however, the gathering was rather sparse but we continue to talk it up in hopes that it will grow...

We do support this necessary mission in prayer always, and agree that it is an essential and worthwhile benefit to the community. Many of the men and woman from the shelter do attend our services, and some have even joined giving them spiritual support necessary for a balance in their lives and a hope to getting on with their lives away from Noah's Ark in the future.

We will continue to support Noah's Ark in any way we can. Again to restate, we are in agreement with the mission and ministry of Noah's Ark to our community. They are definitely in need of funds for their opperation and we will aid them in any way we can.

Sincerely yours,

Session
