My name is Robecka Morrow the founder of Generating Hope.
God has been part of my life for as long as I remember, but I haven't let him be part of my life on and off through the years.
When I did come back he put a driving force with in me to help the Homeless. He put a Vision in me that I will continue to strive for as long as I'm on this earth.
I didn't know through my years that he had trained me for what I'm doing today.
I asked him for a Purpose, I had no idea he had just the one for me. And because I'm not a patient person, he knew I would not let my soul rest.
I had tried to get other people in Yakima involved in my Dream, but none would help. Then one day God spiked my interest in Wapato's homeless population. I started meeting with different groups in Wapato to see where Generating Hope would fit into thier plans for the community. I found a group that was the most dedicated to finding a solution to help the homeless.
So we opened Noah's Ark homeless shelter in Wapato. We are not a wanted organization to some of those who work or have bussiness's in Wapato, because they believe that ya you can help them but not in my town mentality. This town is also the the homeless's town and has been since the day they were born.
One day I plan on having a big place with lots of property, that would take the homeless from one stage all the way through from Dispair to Accomplished. The lives of God's children are precious even those that others want to discard are special.
God laid on my Heart the name of that new place today I would like to call it "Flicker of Hope".
