LINDA GONZALEZ, VICE PRESIDENT: I have lived in the Yakima area most of my life, with last 12 being in Wapato. My partner and I are raising a 16 year old Granddaughter, and between the two of us have 11 Grandchildren with one on the way. I am currently A student at City University studying for my B.A. in Psychology and in my second year taking just 1 class per quarter. Being a full- time counselor does not leave me very much time for anything else. My goal is to go on for my Masters in Psychology and carry on in the drug and alcohol field. listed are my credentials: State Certified Chemical Dependence Professional, Washington State Certified Counselor, Washington State Certificate in Ethnic Studies from Yakima Valley Community College. Working in the Counseling Field is a passion for me, it is something I really enjoy doing, seeing the difference in the people I work with when they finally realize that there can be a change in their life.

LISA BALDOZ:  Originally from the Lower Valley, Lisa comes from a very diverse multi-cultural background.  She completed 4 years of college at Boise State University and 2 years at Heritage University.  She has a BA in American Cultural Studies and an AA in Mexican American Studies/Sociology.  Lisa has 6 years experience working directly with the homeless population including families, singles, medically fragile and those living with HIV/AIDS.  Her past work experience includes:  1 year at El-ADA soup kitchen assisting with the homeless population, 3 years at Yakima County Coalition for the Homeless as lead case manager, property manager and REACH coordinator, 1 year at Zillah school District as a Case manger and currently working for Care Bears as the REACH program coordinator/Advocate.  For four years Lisa has been an active member at the Homeless Network meetings and for the last 3 years she has a volunteered for the Point of Time Survey street count in Wapato.
